Manchester City Vs Chelsea Highlights

Bernardo Silva's Late Heroics Keep Manchester City's Double Hopes Alive

Silva's Goal Secures FA Cup Semi-Final Victory

Manchester City kept their hopes of a domestic double alive with a thrilling 4-4 draw and subsequent penalty shootout victory over Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final.

Pep Guardiola's side twice came from behind to force extra time, with Bernardo Silva's late equalizer sending the match to penalties. City ultimately prevailed 4-3 in the shootout, with Ederson saving two spot-kicks to secure a spot in the final.

The match was a seesaw affair, with Chelsea taking the lead through Hakim Ziyech before Gabriel Jesus equalized. Romelu Lukaku restored Chelsea's advantage, but Jack Grealish once again leveled the score. Kai Havertz put Chelsea ahead for the third time, but Silva's late goal forced extra time.

Neither side could find a winner in extra time, setting the stage for a tense penalty shootout. Mahrez, Jesus, and Foden all converted their penalties for City, while Ederson saved efforts from Ziyech and Havertz. Silva stepped up to take the decisive penalty and coolly slotted it home to send City to the final.

City will now face Liverpool in the FA Cup final on May 14th, while Chelsea's hopes of a domestic treble have been dashed.
