Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey has signed a four-year contract extension worth $121.5 million, according to Spotrac. The deal includes $121.5 million guaranteed and an average annual salary of $30.38 million.
For the 2023-24 NBA season, Maxey will earn a base salary of $4.34 million with a cap hit and dead cap value of the same amount. The contract extension will keep Maxey in Philadelphia through the 2026-27 season.
With Maxey's new contract, the 76ers are currently projected to be $12.7 million over the luxury tax threshold and $5.34 million over the tax apron.
