Baby Requirements For Carnival Cruise Ship

Carnival Cruise Regulations: Age Requirements and More

Age Requirements for Embarkation

For infants, a minimum age of 6 months old is set at the time of departure. Children, on the other hand, must be at least 12 years old for any cruise that includes an international port, including Pacific Islands and New Zealand.

International Port and Age Requirements

If a cruise includes at least one international port, the following age requirements apply:

  • Infants: Minimum age of 6 months at embarkation
  • Children: Minimum age of 12 years at embarkation

Infant and Toddler Amenities

For infants and toddlers, the following equipment can be found onboard:

  • Strollers
  • High chairs
  • Crib rentals

Guests are welcome to leave their strollers at embarkation and collect them later at the designated stroller storage area.

Medical Considerations

Due to limitations of medical care onboard and in various ports of call, women who are pregnant or have entered or exceeded 24 weeks of pregnancy are not allowed to sail.

Age Verification

Guests are required to be 21 years of age on embarkation day to travel independently. Guest ages will be verified at the time of embarkation.

Carnival Cruise Line's Commitment to Infant Safety

Carnival Cruise Line prioritizes the safety and well-being of infants during their travels. With these specific age requirements and amenities, Carnival ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for families with young children.

Fun for Kids on Carnival

Carnival cruises offer an array of activities and entertainment tailored for kids. From waterparks to interactive shows, there's endless fun waiting for young ones.
